Book of Hours, Circa 1460

This set of leaves are from a Book of Hours, Use of Rome,
in Latin, on Vellum, Tuscany, Circa 1460. There are twelve lines,
written in dark brown ink, in a rounded Gothic liturgical hand with initials
in embossed gold and others in blue ink on red tendril ground on
each page.  There are a total of eight leaves, four have the Verso shown.

This was an elegant Italian Book of Hours connected to the
Florentine family of Pazzi.  Some of the leaves from this Book of Hours,
especially those with initials, are closely related to those of a
manuscript of Eusebius written by Quirico da Prato in 1462.
