In June of 2007 Marc-James
Manor Museum Decorative Arts Society
reopened its doors at Marc-James Mews
Museum.
We now offer an afternoon tea and a tour of the Ceramics Collections,
the Alison Eliason Library and, when weather permits,
the grounds at
Neals Gardens.
Each afternoon tea service accommodates up to four guests.
The Decorative Arts Society
At Marc-James Manor Museum*,
An Historical Perspective, 1995-2005:
By reservation, Marc-James Manor Museum was open twice a month to all members (6-12)
for general tour of the house and grounds, including a guided tour of the exhibit.
Time and interest permitting, a leisurely tour of the library was included.
A private, guided tour of the ceramics exhibit only could be scheduled
on any day of the week throughout the year, subject to availability.
Admission for non-members was $10.00 per person.
Tea was available to members only.
The
Manor Museum was affiliated with many Ceramic Societies including, but not limited to:
The San Francisco Ceramic Circle,
The Transferware Collector Club,
The Caughley Society, and
The Derby Society.
